## Summary:
The St. Albert Singers Guild (SASG) is a community choir with a rich history dating back to 1986. Initially formed as an offshoot of a church choir, it has evolved significantly over the years, expanding its programming to include multiple ensembles, though it no longer runs children's choirs. The current mixed choir boasts nearly 60 members, and the St. Albert Women's Vocal Ensemble (SAWVE) is set to return. The Guild welcomed Caroline Crispin as its new Artistic Director in the fall of 2023, who brings a community-focused, collaborative, and fun-loving approach. SASG emphasizes fostering a strong community and musical family, where members build friendships, celebrate milestones, and share a collective passion for singing and bringing joy through performance. It operates as a non-auditioned choir, welcoming individuals of all skill levels, regardless of their ability to read music, believing that everyone can create beautiful music. The organization also actively seeks sponsorships and donations to support its mission of enriching the community through choral music and preserving the tradition of choral music for future generations.
